Fun sports & tobogganing evening on the Marienberg
Right on the doorstep, so to speak, the fun sports and tobogganing evening in Biberwier takes place (dates according to the event calendar). If you want action and excitement here, you can use great fun sports equipment (rental next to the Marienbergbahn valley station)!
Touring evening
Another evening programme is the weekly tour evening to the Sunnalm . For a fee, you can even book a piste taxi!
Carriage (or sleigh) ride through the moss
Get on the carriage and snuggle up in a warm blanket! You’re off on a leisurely carriage (or sleigh) ride through the Ehrwald basin, also known as ‘Moos’.
Definitely not only for romantics and lovebirds! This excursion is also an unforgettable experience for children.
ICE SKATING & WINTER HIKING
For other activities, there are numerous opportunities available to you in our region. Slide over one of our ice skating rinks (skates can be rented for a fee at the artificial ice rink in Ehrwald) or take a leisurely winter hike with or without snowshoes through the impressive landscape in the Ehrwald Basin nature reserve.

After a sporty day, the rustic ambience of our alpine and ski huts will take care of your physical well-being. Enjoy traditional Tyrolean delicacies such as Kässpatzen or Kaiserschmarren and warm up with a hot, creamy cocoa.

With the Top Snow Card There are 87 cable cars and lifts and 213 kilometres of slopes at your disposal. The ski pass is valid in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald .
Best of all, if you stay in our hotels, you will receive your ski pass (from 4 days) at a discounted rate (approx. 10% discount) during the Superski weeks.
Torchlight or llama hike
A special highlight in winter in Biberwier is the weekly alternating tour with llamas or torches. (Meeting point: Marienberg valley station, dates according to the event calendar, participation free of charge with a valid guest card – a refund will be charged for torches).
Driving a snowcat
Co-pilot for snow groomer wanted! 390 hp under the hood, 9 tons of weight, huge chains for maximum grip – the red giants ski our mountains every evening to prepare the slopes perfectly.
In Biberwier you can be a snowcat co-pilot (for a fee)! In the cockpit, children from the age of 10 and adults learn what it feels like to drive up the mountain in the piste grooming machine and what the snow groomer driver has to consider when working at night. Dates according to the calendar of events.
Cross-country skiing in the sun with a view
131 km Skating & Classic Cross-country skiing in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is an absolute pleasure. The view of the beautiful mountain panorama – especially to the Zugspitze – makes cross-country skiing a special experience. Great bonus: all cross-country trails can be used free of charge ! The individual routes are varied and offer something suitable for both ambitious and quieter athletes. Snow is guaranteed by the high-altitude cross-country ski trails and the snow-covered golf circuit directly at the foot of the Zugspitze.
